Can I schedule an ultrasound WITHOUT a referral from my Doctor?
Unfortunately, no. All ultrasound exams require a referral from your doctor.
Do you offer Pediatric ultrasounds?
Yes, just contact our office to schedule.
What do I need for my ultrasound appointment?
The doctor’s order for the ultrasound, an identification card, and your insurance card.
What is your cancellation/no show policy?
Let us know 24 hours in advance to reschedule if you need to cancel.
If 15 minutes have passed from your appointment time, it is considered a no show.
What should I expect for the payment?
We accept most insurances but feel free to call to find out what the self-paying pricing would be if needed.
What types of payments do you accept?
Card and cash payments are welcomed.
How long are the appointments?
They are typically 30 minutes long.
What is the normal wait time?
We give each patient the same amount of care and attention, sometimes we do end up running behind, it can be a 30-minute window, but we will always let the patient know.
Can I still get an ultrasound done if I'm getting ready to travel?
Ultrasound exams do not impede with travel plans.
There is no radiation with ultrasound.
Ultrasounds use transducers to emit sound-waves through the skin - there are no injections required during an ultrasound.
